Canvas tells the story of a young boxer who wants to visit his sporting hero in unusual circumstances…

Commissioned by Channel 4 as part of their 3 Minute Wonder strand, Open Sky’s Lisle Turner wrote and directed this film, produced by multi-award-winning production company Revolution Films. Revolution, run by Michael Winterbottom and Andrew Eaton, would go on the co-produce Lisle’s first feature Here And Now.

The film was shot on location in London and Wolverhamton.
