Show description

“dark, delirious and magical”  Hereford Times

A magical physical theatre show available to tour spring 2021, please do get in touch to discuss further.

Three actors in their 20s, 40s and 60s play the same character simultaneously, cheerfully disregarding stereotypes about female performers. The show blends new writing, physical theatre, comedy, a vivid soundtrack and stage magic. The narrative is based on true stories from interviews with women performers, at different stages of their career, about their experience of the public gaze, male or otherwise and the hopefulness of youth, the wisdom of experience and the disappearing act of ageing.

Audience Feedback

"Bravo!!  Well done on a terrific staging last night.  A magical evening indeed - great performances, and beautifully told and realised."

"Highlights for me included the opening/closing choreography through the mirrors, which I thought tied the essence of the story together perfectly."

"The play was so sensitive, inspiring, clever and touching. I identified with so many parts of it and came away with a knowing that my older self is going to be fine. What a gift to give your audience."

"Loved it. Very clever, deceptively simplistic yet so much vertical depth. Funny, entertaining, touching and wise."

"Afterwards everyone was buzzing in the bar, it really is a brilliant show, really meaningful, poignant and funny. Loved it."
